2010 Triple Play
Silver Medal - San Francisco Chronicle
Tasting Triple Play truly is bringing summertime to your palate. This wine is a blend of 56% Roussanne, 17% Marsanne, and 27% Viognier that produces a crisp, clean taste. It opens with a light aroma reminiscent of summer flowers, followed by overtones of apricots, peaches, and a hint of lavender. It is an amazing wine, just like baseball's "triple play".

Bonne Fête Rouge
“Great Party Red” wine is an '04-'05 Merlot blend that is aptly named for its adaptability to any festive meal. Five years in the barrel have produced mellow cherry and blackberry flavors with an absence of harsh tannins on the palate. The color is so rich that it glows like a jewel when presented in a decanter.

2010 Syrah
Vibrant, dark purple, the color of the 2010 Estate Syrah demonstrates its youthfulness. The wine shows the quality of the vintage to perfection. A nose of berries and a wafting of woodsmoke provoke the appetite. In the mouth, the first impression comes from the texture of the wine, which seems almost thick. Yet the overall impression on the palate is one of lightness, finesse even. The finish recalls the first impression with berries and plums.

2009 Viognier
Silver medal - World of Wine 2012
This vintage has a subtle quality of being somewhat sweeter than the 2007 Viognier. Those who prefer a lingering sweetness on the palate are pleased with the result. The peach and floral aromas, typical of a Viognier, are certainly present. Serve with fish, poultry, spicy foods, and even Eggs Benedict! No oak was used on this wine; the flavor is a rich 100% Viognier grape.

2008 Lyon Red (Table Wine)
Silver medal - Savor NW
Showing a vivid depth of color reminiscent of fresh-crushed cherry juice, this Lyon Red seems to glow in the glass. Opening with a nose of berries and mocha, the aroma slowly broadens to include a spicebox of smells - sage, thyme, cinnamon, fivespice.The finish is broad, clean, elegant and long. This is a blend of Syrah (45%) Merlot (44%) and Petite Verdot (11%)

2010 Malbec
Silver medal - Greatest of the Grape
Our Malbec is a "premier" release in that in the past, we have used our Malbec in our Lyon Red blend. However, the temptation to produce a "straight" Malbec was too much and this is the result. We are pleased with the rich and delicious Malbec flavors that reflect the blackberries, plums, and currants that surround our vineyards.

2008 Merlot Reserve
Silver medal - Savor NW
As with the Malbec, we have used all our Merlot in the Lyon Red Blend. However, in 2008 we "reserved" enough Merlot to produce approximately 100 cases of pure Merlot. The 2008 Merlot has a rich, high quality smoothness that will only improve with age. The cassis, mocha, and dark plum flavors have produced a perfect balance of acidity that compliments expensive cuts of red meat as well as Italian and Greek dishes.
